- Bio: Margaret and her husband Jerry spent summer holidays travelling North for 30 years to enjoy lake life at the Friesen family’s remote cabin on Wekusko Lake. They enjoyed the North experience so much they chose to move North to retire! They have been living at Setting Lake since 2016. Margaret enjoys exploring the outdoors by hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.

- Bio: Derek and I purchased our cabin at Setting Lake because we were told that it was a little community. After we took possession, we discovered this was the absolute truth. We love the people and the events. Setting Lake reminds me of the little farming community I grew up in. After a few years of owning our cabin, I decided to help the community by serving on the board of the Setting Lake Cottage Owners Association. With my business administration certification, the Treasurer’s position is a good fit. I look forward to working together with the owners and taking their needs and wants into consideration when I’m on the board.
